In the app: Account
Account is the quieter maintenance area behind the avatar menu. It holds the settings that shape how Gentleward feels and how your account can be reached.
- Profile controls your name, username, avatar, and default sharing for new connections.
- Settings holds the sensory profile, focus timer defaults, break length, and timezone behavior.
- Daily rhythm configures check-in reminders and browser notifications.
- Security manages passkeys and signed-in devices.
- Plan shows the available tiers and opens Stripe management when billing is enabled for the instance.
- API keys manages a dedicated editor key plus scoped bearer keys for trusted personal tools, with plan-based key and request limits.
Why it’s here. These are not regulation tasks; they are the container the regulation work sits inside. Keeping them together means the main app can stay calm while still giving you control over privacy, access, sensory load, and automation.
A contemplative thread. This is housekeeping as practice: setting up the room so it asks less of you later.
