Daily rhythm

In the app: Daily rhythm

Daily rhythm is where you shape the app’s reminder rhythm: a few recurring check-in invitations, quiet hours, notification preferences, and the browser permission needed for push reminders. The app also has a Rituals surface for answering the day’s prompts when they arrive.

Each ritual is just a time and a prompt. When the moment comes, the reminder opens a check-in — it never records anything on its own.

Why it’s here. Rhythm is gentler than discipline. A predictable, kind bookend to the day asks far less of executive function than remembering to self-regulate from scratch each time. Reminders honour quiet hours and an active focus session, and a missed moment is never treated as a failure.

The psychology. External structure scaffolds the parts of ADHD that struggle with time and initiation. Tying a small practice to an existing anchor (waking, winding down) makes it stick without willpower.

A contemplative thread. Monastic life runs on the bell — not to command, but to invite a return to presence. A morning intention and an evening reflection echo that daily liturgy of attention.
